Taking back my power

Today, I got a call from someone regarding my health insurance through Medicaid.

I was finally able to be put in touch with someone who will likely be able to help me get coverage for an ATV Wheelchair, because the area where I am at is unsafe for manual wheelchairs as well as the work that I do is typically unsafe for manual wheelchairs.

They will be in touch next week (at earliest).

Those around me (mom, house mother, and my doctor), are still determined to brick wall me, ignore me, brush me off, and yell at me when I try to “become too independent,” so am taking matters into my own hands.

They STILL Refuse to acknowledge my attempts at personal autonomy.

If it means I go homeless, so damn well be it!

I no longer care as to what happens to me!

Plus, got a call from my disability attorney service.

Things are STILL stalled out!

So, I am left with NO choice but to go to the local Social Security office and raise Hell.

Tell them flat to get moving or I will go over their heads, straight to the White House!

Yeah, subvert the “chain of command” and go straight to the top.

This is how I get my Needs met.

Remember folks: WE THE PEOPLE are the Boss of the Government - NOT the other way around!
